THE DAM TRACE
This simple yet effective trace is commonly used by anglers to catch fish in dams, rivers and even on the rocks when fishing at the coast.
Step 1: Tie your sinker at the bottom of your line using the method shown in the diagrams below:


Step 2: Leave about fifty centimetres of line from the sinker
Step 3: Make a loop of about 10cm to 15cm, and at the base of the loop, tie a knot once and then again.
Step 4: Simply thread the loop of the line through the eye of the hook, pull it out the otherside and take it over the hook again. Pull until the hook is tight.
Step 5: There you have a standard dam trace, now put a piece of brown bread bait dipped in egg yellow and throw it in the water in front of you!
